Michael Miller has lived in Fort Bend County since 2012 since moving from Galveston County, TX. Miller spent 12 years in Oil and Gas in the Houston area and most recently works for Amazon. “Talking about myself doesn’t come natural – I prefer to let actions speak and build leaders of those around me.” -MLM. That being said, we know you need to know more about Miller as we humbly request your vote this November.

Miller’s four children have all attended Lamar ISD schools. Ben, is now a second year student at the University of Texas – Austin and George Ranch High School graduate; Sam is a Senior at GRHS, Harry attends Reading Junior High, and Turbo attends Polly Ryon Middle School.

Youth Sports and Athletics play a large part in the Miller household. Local involvement includes an impressive 15+ year as a head YMCA basketball coach, something he has done for each of his kids – and still going. Miller is the youth football coordinator for the GRHS zone of Gridiron football. A coach and player for NFL Flag. Former coach with Little League baseball. And each of his kids are active athletes at their respective schools.

Brought up in a household with 3 siblings and maternal grandparents who immigrated from Mexico, the ideas of personal freedoms, faith, entrepreneurship, and non-government mandated charity were strong themes that carry through to today.

The Miller family owns a house in Richmond, TX as well as 10 acres of agricultural land in the Richmond/Booth area – currently tending to goats, horses, llamas, donkeys, chickens, and one feisty guinea pig.
